This privacy policy incorporates the privacy statement made by the Thoroughbred Racehorse Owners’ Association Inc (TROA).

All personal information collected by the TROA is protected by the Privacy Act 1988.

Any information forwarded to you by electronic means is done so on each occasion a ‘one off’ basis to provide information to you as a member of TROA. The information is provided under TROA’s Memorandum of Understanding with Racing Victoria Limited (RVL) and you are free to unsubscribe to the electronic information provided by TROA at any time. This is done by emailing ‘unsubscribe’ to admin@troa.com.au

Recording of Email Addresses

We will only record your email address if you send us a message. Your personal information will be used for the purposes for which you have provided it and your email address will not be added to a mailing list unless you ask us to do so. We will not use your personal information for any other purpose or disclose it to another person except where it is necessary for the performance of TROA’s functions, where otherwise authorised or required by law or with your consent.

The personnel who operate the TROA website are subject to the Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988. This Act lays down strict privacy safeguards which all organisations and agencies must observe in handling personal information. Changes will be made to this Privacy statement as required when new policies or services are introduced.
